Safari Terms and Conditions
Effective upon booking with Tanzanari Adventures
1. Booking and Reservations
All bookings must be submitted in writing and are only confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total safari cost. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to the start of the safari. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Payment Methods
We accept payments via bank transfer and major credit cards, with all transactions made in US dollars unless otherwise agreed. Bank charges or transfer fees are the responsibility of the client. Failure to follow the payment schedule may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and will become effective from the date received. The following charges apply:
More than 60 days before departure: 30% of the safari cost
30–60 days before departure: 50% of the safari cost
Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the safari cost
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations and other unexpected events.
4. Changes to Bookings
All changes must be communicated in writing and are subject to availability. While we will do our best to accommodate adjustments, any additional costs arising from modifications—such as changes to accommodation, transportation, or itinerary—will be borne by the client.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover personal accident, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, cancellation, curtailment, and loss or theft of personal belongings. Tanzanari Adventures is not liable for any costs arising from inadequate or absent insurance coverage.
6. Health and Safety
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in good physical condition and to obtain relevant medical advice regarding vaccinations and precautions. Carrying a personal first aid kit is recommended. Clients must follow all safety instructions from guides and staff to ensure a safe experience.
7. Liability
Tanzanari Adventures is not liable for loss, injury, damage, or death resulting from factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, adverse weather, political instability, or accidents. We act only as agents for third-party providers and are not responsible for any default or negligence on their part.
8. Use of Photographs
We reserve the right to use photographs and videos taken during the safari for marketing and promotional purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the start of the trip. We respect client privacy and will never use imagery that may cause harm or discomfort.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms or the safari experience will be subject to resolution in Tanzanian courts.
By booking with Tanzanari Adventures, clients agree to these terms and conditions and confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted them in full.
