Getting to Serengeti National Park is accessible both by road and air. By road, the park can be reached from various towns and cities, with several gates providing entry and exit, including Naabi Hill, Seronera, Ndutu, Lobo, Ikoma, and more. Each gate offers a unique access point depending on the region of the park you wish to explore.
For a quicker and more scenic arrival, there are several airstrips throughout the park. The main ones include Seronera in the central region, Kusini in the south, Lobo in the east, Kirawira in the west, and Kogatende and Lamai in the north. Scheduled and private charter flights are available from major locations such as Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Musoma, Dar es Salaam, and Zanzibar.
